Introduction
In response to those who believed that the Guerrilla Girls had lost their edge, in 1995 they issued the "Top Ten Signs That You're An Art World Token." For the Guerrilla Girls, tokenism was another form of discrimination. In 1990, the group asked "If February is Black History Month and March is Women's History Month, what happens the rest of the year?" Their answer, of course, was "discrimination."
