Biography of Lillia Floyd Donnell, 1850-1903

Lillia Floyd Donnell was born August 14, 1850 to John E. Donnell and Dorcas F. Fitzpatrick Donnell in Portland, Maine.
Donnell was active in the Maine Woman Suffrage Association, serving as their recording secretary between 1885 and 1903. She was also involved in the Unitarian Alliance and the Woman's Literary Union of Portland.
As of 1900, Donnell lived in her family's home at 223 Western Promenade in Portland with her nieces Dorcas and Alida Leese, the daughters of her late sister Alida Donnell Leese. She never married.
Donnell died of breast cancer in 1903 at age 53.
