This project explores the history of the Guerrilla Girls in the 1980s and 1990s, a group of women artists and art professionals who fought discrimination against women in the art world of galleries, museums, and art criticism. Adopting a strategy of anonymity, they affiliated with the traditions of anonymous do-gooders like Robin Hood, Batman, and the Lone Ranger.
