Introduction

       In this brief report the club's maternity committee measured the Center's success in terms of the large numbers of women whom it had served.

MATERNITY PROTECTION COMMITTEE

       Mrs. Andrews, the Secretary, reported that instead of reaching 1,000 mothers in the first year, as the Center originally hoped, over 2,300 women had benefited by the service there, and that not one of the twelve expectant mothers who had influenza and were treated from the Center had been lost.
